Digital Design Festival/Competition

Thanks to all who made eMagine '09 a huge success!

The '09 Photo Gallery and Winners are up.

Imagine...walking down the red carpet, your name in lights. People crowded around to get a glimpse of you and to see the premiere of your creative talents.

Now, eMagine…an evening of inspiration, celebration, and recognition of the creative abilities of students from all over the KC metro area.

Thanks so much to all who joined us and our guest emcee, Hollywood producer Chet Thomas, on February 28 for this red-carpet, formal event -- and all who submitted your own creative media talents to be show-cased that evening.

The Day started out a bit slowly with several inches of blowing snow... but it didn't deter people for long.

Also at the event were several colleges with programs in graphic design, animation, web design and video production. During the afternoon we browsed their displays and visited with representatives,

and attended an ISM video production workshop!

We had some great sponsors for this event -- ISM Films, The Art Institutes International - Kansas City, Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, K State, KU, JCCC, MNU.

Entry to the eMagine (sounds like "imagine") competition is open to all KC area high school students. The submitted work has to have been created during this school year (2008/2009).
